Charlie the fox pattern

                                  Charlie the fox

Pattern designed by Ashley Turck from This is Amigurumi

Materials
Red heart super saver Worsted weight yarn in orange, black, and white
Size G 4.0 mm crochet hook
Yarn needle for attaching parts
12mm safety eyes
Fiber fill
Small amount of black embroidery thread
Gauge= 4 sc in 1 inch

Terms
mc- magic circle or adjustable loop
Sc- single crochet (for my sc I insert hook yarn under pull through, then yarn over and pull through)  you may get a slightly larger amigurumi when using the normal yarn over for the entire stitch.
ss- slip stitch
Dec- decrease (insert your hook into next stitch front loop only and repeat into next stitch then yarn over pull through then yarn over and pull through again) I highly recommend you use this invisible decrease.
Inc- increase (2 single crochet into next stitch)
f/o- finish off
*repeat

Important- please make sure you leave a long tail after each piece to be able to sew onto the body. You can increase or decrease any way you like I just recommend you use invisible decrease as it is almost invisible.
Place a stitch marker on the first stitch of a round and move up each round. You will be working in a spiral and not joining each round.

How to sew it together
Pin the muzzle on and sew all around leaving a little gap to add stuffing. The top of the muzzle should be on row 12.
Pin ears in place making sure they are even and sew all the way around each then take the yarn tail and have it come out the back of the head and attach the other ear.  You can then take that yarn tail and push the yarn needle out in same spot as other one so you can tie them together and stuff back into body. Repeat for the arms and legs
Pin on the tail making sure it’s in a good spot before you start to sew it on.
